Brett Ramsey is a financial advisor who believes in using a disciplined decision making process. He uses this approach to help individuals and their families pursue their personal retirement goals and objectives.
Brett has 15 years of experience helping clients with budgeting, debt elimination, asset management and retirement income planning. He has taught thousands of people these financial techniques through hundreds of educational events. He also personally assisted hundreds of individuals making the transition from the workplace into retirement, giving him the experience necessary to help clients meet their specific retirement planning needs. He credits his father for instilling this process in him at an early age.
As a child, Brett used to watch “The Nightly Business Report” with his dad each night when he came home from work. That is probably why Brett by age 6 was lending money, with interest, to his mother.
Brett holds an undergraduate degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, as well as a Masters in Business from the Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. At Case Western, Brett was an all-around athlete, he was quarterback for his college football team, played power forward for the basketball team, and was a decathlete in track.
Brett is married and lives in Carmel, Indiana with his wife and three children. He still enjoys being active, but has shifted that to running half marathons, playing golf and coaching youth sports. He especially enjoys coaching youth sports as a way to try and pass on the valuable life lessons he learned through his coaches and teammates.
Brett serves the community by volunteering for local charitable organizations. He has helped develop the financial assistance program used at a first of its kind local suburban care ministry.
